Black Tie Women What Is Indian Equivalent Of "black Tie" For Women? Saris Only Or Salwar Kameez Also>?

What is Indian equivalent of "black tie" for women? Saris only or salwar kameez also>? - black tie women

We are in Bangalore. Office for my husband (with a formal session in the afternoon) no formal dinner, but the dress code is black tie or the equivalent in India. Should I Sari? I am Punjabi and not very comfortable in it (tripped and fell the last time you used.) And it can bring my husband a formal kurta pajama (black embroidery, etc.)? HELP! The event is only 10 days.

Dress is always an acceptable alternative for European-style clothes illuminated between hosts. All items that say more about themselves than their unhappy customers. If you are Punjabi salwar then by all means take the place, or an evening gown.

Salwar kameez can be so beautiful! Think about it! You are the Punjabi, marrying many wives or a shalwar kameez Lehnga! Wear a salwar kameez nice if you want! They are very fashionable and can be very formal. Well, you know, in Bangalore, the mode of the sari, so you always choose. For a black tie event here (the States), could be a really beautiful salwar kameez or a sari to use in Nice.
