Kensington Transmitter IPod Nano-2nd Gen W/FM Transmitter?

IPod Nano-2nd Gen w/FM Transmitter? - kensington transmitter

I have a Kensington FM Transmitter for iPod nano 2nd Generation, but can not drive to work. My radio is a transmitter that is not normally vote, a signal, 'radio' in my iPod "activated" and the sender is in the cigarette lighter. What am I missing?
